Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic People and Culture Manager to lead our human resources initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture within our BPO operations in Zambia. This role will be responsible for driving employee engagement, talent management, diversity and inclusion, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating a thriving work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals to enhance workforce productivity and engagement.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Drive initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring high employee satisfaction.
- Develop and implement learning and development programs to upskill employees and enhance career growth.
- Establish and oversee performance evaluation processes, ensuring continuous feedback and improvement.
- Manage competitive compensation, benefits and rewards programs to attract and retain employees.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies, handling employee relations and workplace disputes effectively.
- Champion Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives to create an inclusive work environment for all employees.
- Monitor HR metrics, analyze workforce trends, and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (ZIHRM certification required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the BPO industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, Zambian labor laws and employee relations.
- Proven ability to lead culture-building initiatives and drive organizational change.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience with HR systems, performance management tools, and engagement platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
